I also made a necklace for my mom for the same day! Hers is a nylon cord with green ceramic beads and rose gold jeweled beads. I strung them up on the cord, then had to make a new clasp for the necklace as the original one was lost. So I made a new one with some beading wire and a couple of jumper rings.

I also recently got a little anvil, which I can use for making jewelry. It's just 1 pound in weight, maybe a little more. But it can be used to hammer tiny things, like rings, chains, and earrings.
