Its the same as steam join links for any game, but if youre new to using them i can understand it being confusing:

Joining other people:
You just paste a link ⁠into your internet browser (the url bar at the top) - You will get a popup to open with steam.
Do it while in the main menu, not the airport. If nothing happens the lobby is full :)

Making your own lobby:
In the main menu, go to settings and change lobby mode to 'open to friends'.
Then press host and go into the airport.
The green 'join game' button should now appear on your steam profile. Right click it to copy the link :)
