DOES ANYONE HERE HAVE THE SAME ISSUE?

I’m a new Steam user and created my account in November 2025. Recently, my friends gifted me Steam Wallet credits so I could buy the games I want, and I’ve already spent more than $5.00 USD on the Steam Store. However, my account is still restricted from using community features. I’m unable to level up from Level 0 and can’t add new friends, which I understand should be available after meeting the minimum spending requirement. I’d also like to clarify something: Do I need to purchase games using my own money for it to count, or do Steam Wallet credits received from friends also count toward the $5 requirement? May I kindly ask why my account is still limited and what steps I need to take to unlock all Steam community features?
