Hey everyone!

I didn’t know where else to put this, but I figured I just couldn’t let the idea stay in my head.

So, my friends and I made up our own “game mode” in Peak, that we played yesterday, and I wanted to post it here, if anyone else wanted to try it out with their friends.

It kinda goes against the whole “work together as a team to reach the top,” and more into the “goofy, screwing each other up” part of the game.

So, the rules:

You play solo against your teammates to reach the top first of each biome. First place get’s 4 points, second place get’s 3 points, third place get’s 2 points and last place get’s 1 point.

If you die, you get -1 point. And your placement will be determined according to how far you went up.

No one is allowed to have a backpack (since everyone can’t have one until biome 4).

The perks of getting to the top first is - besides most points - they get to choose an item on top first. (This includes the rare item at the scout statue)

If someone dies, you obviously can’t choose that.

The person who get's most points after reaching the top of the volcano obviously wins.

There’s definitely some things that doesn’t work as intended in this “game mode” such as: What if everyone dies? Is the game over?

And practically, yes. The game is over, with how Peak works as of now.

I would love to see them implement a game mode like this though.

In general I would say that we had SO MANY funny moments in those runs. Throwing coconuts or frisbees at each other, shooting darts or screwing each others up the best way we could, while we all in the meantime tried to reach the top first.

Absolutely hilarious.

I would post this somewhere the developers could get suggestions, but I haven’t been able to find that just yet - but maybe some of you guys would like to try it out for yourself.

If anyone has some ideas or adjustments we could do in our “game mode” I would love to hear them!
