Alpine is harder imo because of the sheer cliffs that trick you into thinking you can stand and the caves are too dark to see anything. In mesa you can always see, the sunlight and tornados are the worst part but i usually stick to the caves in the daytime and venture out at night

kiln. alpine is one of the coolest i agree but if you save the right tools... you should get a handful since you can get some lugagges in two maps (specially solo) but at the end, generation rng kills most of the time lol

Its pretty easy to avoid as long as youre watching which rocks are catching fire. They usually dont light on fire back to back so you know that the one that just caught on fire is safest

The fire gives you time to run away before the rock sets on fire, if caldera’s a problem for you then id suggest cooking fortified milk as many times as you can and drinking it while its still in your hand before you go in. That way you can just speed run it lol. Just make sure to never click out of the fortified milk

If you've already tried reinstalling your game....

it usually means your gpu doesnt meet the minimum requirements, you can try:

• Launching on vulkan instead of dx
• Setting texture quality to low
• Updating your graphics drivers

Make sure to use the steam launcher to run the game, and not the desktop shortcut, as the shortcut won't use your chosen launch options.
