Luggage can sometimes carry antidotes which will clear spores. There are also medicinal roots which look like carrots, usually at the base of the climb. Hope this helps ❤️

It's actually one of the most consistent techs in the game once you get the hang of it, it just takes a while. Personally it took me ~20-30 uses before I would say I was good at it.
