I'm on a TCA which works in the long run, side effects are worse than SSRIs but SSRIs don't work on me (or I'd have to switch between different SSRIs every few months which is a worse side effect cycle than pushing through the initial few months on a TCA)

yeah I wasn't trying to argue with you or anything, I just meant that someone with ADHD back then who didn't have access to any medication would end up working with something practical, but that's what most people did back then, so it wasn't much of an issue. I think that's what people are referring to when they said it wasn't an "issue" back in the day. People certainly had it, it just wasn't very problematic. In many cases it was a good trait, and depending on what you do today, it can still be. I'm narcoleptic, so there's really no upside to my issues and I certainly would've been quite useless back in the day. I take the same medication as people with ADHD so I'm glad doctors recognized it as an issue in the first place and started working on medications for it.

Tricyclic antidepressants, just a different branch of the medication with different effects. Tricyclic and tetracyclic are considered "heavier" but it just kinda boils down to the person's needs and biology (which isn't fully understood yet so finding the right branch can be difficult)

I think the issue is that as opposed to a lot of serious physical ailments, depression is a very taboo thing and so everyone who's depressed already knows it's not normal. The best way to avoid cheaters in your games that I can think of is to not post the link but instead require them DM you. Less likely a cheater will go through the process but if they do you now have their Discord and can just block them to avoid dealing with them again.

I think Mesa is much easier and more relaxing but too long. Alpines is more difficult climbing but shorter.
