there isnt really any specific way, just play the game and youl get better
there are a few tips and tricks though

for example, you can lunge at the very end of your stamina bar to get a bit more distance
jumping before you climb actually makes you climb less, since it eats a lot of extra stamina
you can jump off a ledge and quickly grab and release a ledge to gain extra jump distance (mostly very good in the kiln)
you can spam lunge and grab while using the lolipop to get insane distance out of it, later you can let down a rope to help your team get up to you
