You got it bro, its really trial and error. You learn what u can and cant climb. What jumps you can and cant make, can and cant eat. After that its a matter of seeing every map as it is i.e taking a second to plan a path, decide climbs etc. Thats why its really enjoyable, takes some light thought and non complicated mechanics to create a engaging game especially with friends

When you beat it, you unlock ascent 1 which applies a harder modifier, then beating each one unlocks the next with more difficult modifiers applied along with the previous ones

There's a pin at the top that shows how. You probably just need to change your lobby settings in the main menu to Friends.
