Hi, everyone. I am brand new to this game and this is my first time playing with friends today. Each time I accept an invite, I am stuck here where the game does not accept any of my inputs - be it keyboard or controller.

Things I have done:

uninstalled and re-installed game

switched from Vulkan to DX and back again

I have launched the game first then accepted the invite, and I have had the invite accept launch the game. All I hear are my friend's mics in the distance, but nothing where I can join them at all.

What else can I try that I have not thought of?

You just paste the link ⁠into your internet browser.

The game can be closed, however if you have it running, make sure it is in the main menu (and NOT the airport).
If nothing happens after that it means the lobby is full.
Also, game inv links don't work on the steam deck if youre using that
