theres no in-game matchmaking but theres always ppl in the discord server looking to play. Just make sure you have a bit of time available because theres no checkpoints and a successful run can take over an hour

they're just different graphic APIs, I've heard dx12 tends to work best for windows pcs, but dependent on hardware/ graphics cards/drivers etc either could be better for you. If you're experiencing any graphics bugs on one, you can try swapping to the other for your next playthrough to see if its any better

don't know where to post this, or if its in the game and I have yet to see it. But a cool item would be a harness tether. It could take up a backpack slot. Allows you to connect a rope to another player. So if they fall while connected they would dangle from you. If your climbing it could add stress to your stamina, and or cause the harness to break after a few seconds or uses.

you need to be on the same launch option (dx12 or vulkan) as them.
To troubleshoot whether its actually picking you up though, go stand in front of the mirror in the airport. You should see your mouth moving when you talk
