thats correct, they are baffles, and they are 0.8mm thick
Does the exhaust fit any shape of hepa/carbon filter?
not yet..
i want to first check if it works
the goal is to make it so the filters slot in from the top, making it easy to remove/replace
i'll know more by this time tomorrow
dunno if u seen this or not
I don't have an intake anymore... so...
and I need hepa and carbon on the exhaust...
but it looks great...
That looks insanely complicated, like an ameoba or something lol
thats actually pretty good
that gives me an idea for a re-design
Pointing the air inlet up is a bold choice.
yep
Nature is just beautiful isn't it
Thinking about the air inlet, from the side is kind of the only good option.
Complete rework
intakes/exhausts are now on the sides, instead of the bottom or the top..
going to add space to have hepa filters slide in from the top, so no need to remove it to change filters.
uses a LOT less material, because it will use the back of the CC as the other wall
will make the outer walls thicker and use infil as a sound isolation
What lengths are the minimal and maximal paths from the fan to the exit?
That is essentially what will inform your sound signature because that will give you your standing waves. Longer is usually more bass, but it could lead to harmonics
that's the next part!
