Sneak peak at the first mission in the reworked campaign. Use latest unstable branch and extract all into your caesar 3 folder. Then look into "load saved game" and play from there.

Ostia was fun to try, at least from the perspective of someone coming back to Caeser after 2 decades. The unlocking thing is a bit confusing. Maybe, a short description stating the different things to do open up stuff might have been useful. Not that i am complaining. It’s just that it felt awkward when we see farmland and fish, but there is no method to give food to citizens in the beginning.

Hey, thanks for checking it out. The first message tells you that buildings and resources will unlock overtime maybe you missed that. Otherwise it always tells you what the next objective is and what is made avaialble not sure how to make this more apprent than it already is. Its possible its more cofusing if this is your first contact with events in Augustus. If you would like to test more maps let me know and i can invite you to my place as a tester.

I just finished the full peaceful and military campaign set of main caeser. i had never played custom maps before(i mean in 2000). so now i am just playing the custom maps i am seeing in youtube videos. i opened discord account only 2 days ago, mainly hunting for campaigns.

One suggestion: is it possible to remove pottery and furniture from "show prices" as well. Also fish import. The core principle being: Things that are not used shouldn't be in map.

Some maps have new cities becoming tradable with later so this could interfere with the premise of you not knowing what they will trade unless the system is robust and checks every month for what goods are available localy and from trade.

in my hostel during bachelor's time, Caeser games were played only by a handful of people. all others preferred AoE over Caeser. I was the only one left playing this game. I think what i had then was some kind of free to play version.
