This is an error caused by updating from version 42.15/? to 42.16.0/1. According to The Indie Stone, saves from previous versions are incompatible, so you’ll need to use the “Out” version to play 42.16.0/1. You will either have to start a new server‑level save, or you have two options if you want to keep your old save—with the possible risks that come with it. You can find more information here.
