Idk what happened why is controller broken on this game all of a sudden. I play on steam deck and suddenly it’s like someone broke the controls on purpose. Restarted and changed layouts and still broken. Nothing works. Stuck running. Literally unplayable. Did I mess up a setting or something? I tried reloading configs.

Specifically jogging is triggered by moving the stick half-way, ext..
You didn't do anything wrong and it's not a bug. This was an experimental feature.
I believe they will revert these changes or make them optional within the next few updates.
So you have two options rn...
Either wait for an official update.
Or use this mod that reverts the changes to movement.
