So, everyone whos typed here, Im assuming youre down for b42. If we're all from EU, normal hosting through steam should be fine? I havent looked at mods after that big mp update, but usually i had some simple mods + some car mods. Whats everyones preferences?

I also have always preferred only bites giving infection, no scratches

in SP I always played hardcore, didnt respawn but idk how Id run it for MP :p

I'm from NA, do you think I'd get way too much ping if I joined a server hosted from EU? Otherwise bite only and mods are good! And by not respawning does it mean we're done for the server once we're dead ahah?

Well, its how I played in SP, but as youre saying, if we form a fun group its not very fun if somebody is done forever if they die

but i do like to play to not die and take it srsly in that regard, playing slow and methodical if that makes sense

I played with like uh, high population bite only hardcore/1 life

and my best run was like 4-5 months?

but like, I wanna say I want this post to be newbie friendly too

Like if we have a group of 3-5 peeps itd be just fine if someone was new to the game as long as theyre kinda understanding to move with the group and take it slow

I just said that as an example for restrictions you could place so people don't just run around and die every day or few days

bite can already be pretty ruthless, i know a lot of friends who turn off bites and scratches, only play till like you die die by damage

Yeah I play either of those, sometimes you get bitten through 4 layers of protection because you missed a swing or it didn't connect and it feels bs

yeah sometimes it can be goofy, like irl, even if youre out of your mind and dont care for your teeth, youre not biting through 4 layers

I'm a newbie and I can be wearing as much clothing as possible but somehow I still get bitten super easily

right, I feel like it should only apply to places that have no layers, really damaged clothing, or yk, sensible things

They can't bite through a tank top, t shirt, shirt and bulletproof vest

Alright, Bump. 3 of us have started a game on b42, no respawn, high population, vanilla. We only played yesterday but made some progress.
