We've had to deal with quite a few different hackers and ended up defaulting to backups every 15 minutes to reduce the potential disruptions for players as much as possible.

But we do not use the built in PZ backups that slow down every boot. We have own own dedicated servers that we directly backup the filesystems with using cronjobs and Pterodactyl. End result is we have a lot more control over the backups and at most we generally only lose 15 minutes of data if we have to rollback

I've noticed that PZ isn't saving the Steam ID, so if you have the login and password from someone, you can log in with a different Steam ID.

i think it might actually be under the "data" column in players.db. theres something called "BLOB" but looking in there theres all kinds of stuff that looks like skill and perk and recipe data. Im not sure how to place that from the backup version into the converted version yet.

I don't believe it being a java vulnerability was ever disclosed. We only know it was a security vulnerability. For all we know it might have only affected some machines or architectures. We have put forth an emergency patch to deal with a security vulnerability that was indentified. We fully intend to bring back the legacy builds if possible, however the 42.13 builds were intended to be removed with the next update anyway, so it would not be an efficient use of developer resources to patch those builds.

I did. Picked up the game in 2015, and started working with TIS in 2023. I wasn't a superfan but was a fan. It was a bit of a "oh my god this is so cool" moment, and over time that faded. It's still cool, just not in a fangirling way.

It was super interesting getting a behind the scenes look at first, but again the novelty wears off. It was a bit enlightening about why things are certain ways.

I did end up using a bit of dairy in this one... 236 ml oat milk, 118 ml coconut cream, 118ml high protein milk, 0.5 grams of xanthan gum, 41grams of lightly toasted hazelnuts turned into a paste, about 30grams of cocoa powder, pinch of salt, 0.5 ml of vanilla bean paste blend that all together and then let it sit for 24 hours, and then make the magic machine do it's thing, start with sorbet mode and then do the respin until it is to your liking

then I made keto brownies the other night and I mixed those in+ a bit on top cut up
