Animal debug text visible in multiplayer

When I play multiplayer I can see animal debug text for all animals and there is sometimes one at the top left of my screen, is there anyway to get rid of this, the person I am playing with says they do not have this.

Go to “%UserProfile%\Zomboid” and delete the debug-options.ini file

saddly this didn't work.
