I always thought this would be cool if you could 'learn' how to make tiles by encountering them in the world an having sufficient skill levels, similar to whats done for items now. So like, if I am a level 2 carpentry and I find that tile for a wood bordered garden plot, I can examine it and 'learn' it just like we can with items. Same with different kinds of bookshelves, metal, things, etc (assuming you have the skill to actually understand how to do it). Bloat would be managed naturally through choice, as people don't HAVE to learn any addiitonal tiles or furniture but could have as many as they want. And it would encourage going out and finding cool stuff.

It can be killed by any damage source that hurts vanilla animals, so hitting it, shooting it, setting it on fire, or running it over with a car can hurt/kill it.
Right now everything works in MP except riding (top prio for us), so you can start gathering some horses on your server to prep for riding being introduced. You can also put saddle bags on them and use as pack animals for now

Lmao yeah, it happens when there's no animation data for the bones, so it just collapses on the root bone.
The reason it happens with the horse is because there's a vanilla bug with how the load order for custom animation meshes is set up, they only load on game start, not when starting a new save. So you have to enable the mod in the main menu and restart, so that it finds and loads the animations properly

My guess for what this update includes is either a) some expanded crafting stuff that uses timed systems now that the drying rack works in MP (i.e. brewing, pickling, cheesemaking) , and/or b) melee ragdolls type stuff, with a very slight possibility though probabaly not of c) a physics based throwing of objects based system that makes bows possible too

i don't believe that you should constantly and even regularly lean into things with the community, but generative AI and AI in general is not something well received across the board by the gaming community in general, is this the official stance of TIS as a whole, are you going to commission/work with them in the future? are you going to ever to the bottom of it if so? i'm not a drawer or painter, but as a musician, i can imagine a lot of other artists out there, musicians or drawers alike, don't like to see it shelfed like this

We're not in the habit of witch hunting. We hired an artist who we had a long standing relationship with to perform a job. The result of that art was shown to dozens of community testers who all gave unanimous positive feedback. At no point when it went in front of TIS employees or community testers was the possibility of it being AI generated raised, and had it been we would have investigated.
After release however there was such a shitstorm that distracted from all the great work.. years of work that we put into the game, that we simply decided to remove the artwork and let that be that. There is no positive outcome from investigating, and only extends the drama when what we want is for people to focus on the amazing updates that we made.

We hired an artist... one we have a longstanding relationship with. We didn't outsource to generative AI and we have much more important things to focus on. It serves us no benefit to dredge it up, and would actively hurt us as we would have to deal with the drama all over again... which we obviously don't want
