Inventory Capacity Struggle

B42 MP, no mods.

The inventory interface doesn't allow me to pick/store items in my bags or containers up to the maximum capacity/space displayed. The attached screenshot shows one of many instances where this happened, specifically with a medical bag with a maximum capacity of 23, but I can't go beyond 18.4. It also happened before with shelves with a maximum capacity of 36, which wouldn't allow me to discard items above approximately 25.

If necessary, I can record the gameplay with this apparent bug or share the save files.

I don't know if it's actually a bug or just my lack of knowledge about the new inventory management mechanics.

I had this bug on my server but couldnt dropn the backpack at all anymore or interact with it even in admin mode

Did you perhaps change the MaxItemPerContainer server setting?

Hm, it is possible its a bug then, and this happens randomly?

Can you for example move all items from one bag to another and then some more items?

To check if just some specific bags are affected

It happened in all player containers (bags, backpacks or sacks) or environment containers (counters, crates, shelves) all times.

Maybe it has something to do with organized trait, because my friend without this trait (he appears in the screenshot) claimed he had no similar issue.

Yeah there have been several reports with bugs with that trait
