Running a current stable B41 Dedicated server, running through setup before pushing it live I'm running into a bug with auto mechanics. Being frank I don't quite know what I'm doing but I'm figuring it out and there's a lack of servers in Oceana so I'm trying to fill the void.

Specifically the bug is when using uninstall all or train mechanics the player will get to the headlights or radio, the train mechanics will get interupted and the game audio will completely cut out untill you click on the game or move your character.

Same bug is replicated on a second home dedicated server using the same configs.

Should maybe clarify that the light bulbs are about the 6th item in the queue, they start under the hood doing battery, radio, hood and headlights, move to the back and do tail lights. Once he puts back the first tail light it's interupted and the game audio breaks.

Either way I've deleted it for now as I have Vehicle Salvage Overhaul installed and everyone will just spam seats.

Still trying to figure out the problem

Does the issue happen without any mods?

Yes it does.

I loaded up into single player and it works but going onto the dedicated server on a fresh save with only Auto mechanics on it still hangs and kills the game audio. With nothing else installed the actions are stalling. mostly once installing the front right tire but it's doing other strange behavior.

There's no errors in the server console, is there a way to get a console to actually see what's happening with actions because I don't seem to be able to have a way to debug this at all with the logs I currently have available.

Loaded into the server, performed the action and had it break, no errors showing up in game, logged out to main menu and went to check the Console.txt on the server and there's nothing in there about an error, all the data for me connecting then me disconnecting.

It seems to be getting further now then it was before, which is odd. It'll get to the end missing one or two parts then do the stall and kill the game audio till you move but it has allot more trouble with the Ki5 vehicles then standard vehicles. Personally I'm going to blame mod to mod compatibility though the errors do still happen purely vanilla.

If you're still wondering these are the client and server log files for the session in question, logged in, tried training mechanics, logged out.

#

These logs are vanilla with only Auto Mechanics installed on the server and enabled in my client mod options.

I can only really accept logs without any mods installed unfortunately

#

And it seems like the client logs are also corrupted, did you perhaps switch to version 42 and back to 41?

#

That can cause problems with logs and the game

I did and this is a problem with a mod, specifically auto mechanics. I did switch from B42 back to B41, I'm guessing a full delete and wipe of files and reinstall is in order?

It would just mean in the future the logs wouldnt be as useful

I did a full wipe, users folder, deleted steam folders after uninstalling ect. Full purge. I got abit more FPS but still same issue, going to call it a broken mod which is annoying because they disabled any commenting or fourms on steam and just tell people in the disctription "all answers will be given on the zomboid discord" and then "locked down" the mod so techincally noone can fix it.

As far as I am aware, you can make a submod fixing the original mod, as long as the submod isnt just a copy of the original mod
