I have unintentionally started a save on apocalypse, where i intended to start it as custom sandbox without zombification.
My character has been bit, and I would like to save him by changing apocalypse to custom sandbox with my desired settings
Is this possible in the files or even in game?
I moved all my apocalypse save data to a custom sandbox save, but i am unsure how to change zombification in the map_sand.bin to never, as the values I saw online ranged from 0-30 sec mortality to 1-2 weeks mortality (Value in the files are 1-6)
I attempted to change the values to 0, which got automatically set to 5 when launched. I also tried changing it to 7, which seems to run but my character is still dying.
Am i missing something? Is there a players_infected.bin file somewhere I haven't noticed that is causing my characters death? Any help greatly appreciated.
#B41: Changing apocalypse save to sandbox

Not afraid to use debug mode or cheats to save him by the way, I just want infection turned off
Debug mode menu has a sandbox settings menu item in it. To save the character just turn on god mode for 1 second and then turn it back off.
I would not recommend messing with the data like that
Use a sandbox editing mod instead
Use godmode to heal the existing infection, since changing sandbox options would not remove it
Sweet thank you
Where is the sandbox sett8ngs option though? I searched thry debug options and didn't find any tabs with them.

I'm on B42 tho - sorry if it's not applicable to B41
Thank you
gulp
might have something to do with the fact that this was originally an apocalypse world
i think it's still adhering to that
(by that i mean i moved all the data from an apocalypse world into a sandbox world
nope
doesnt work in normal custom sandbox either
it keeps changing the zombie lore mortality to 5 when i change it to 7
in the files
used a mod to change sandbox settings
