#vsync forced on with the new patch?

i have no mods enabled outside of one save file that I use and the main menu also runs at 72 FPS, its weird
Check vsync, then apply, then uncheck it, then apply again
I also just verified game files and nothing changed. I made sure I didnt have any sort of third party enabling vsync (AMD Adrenalin for example) and still nothing, im pretty stumped at this point
I forgot to mention that its the only game that does that. I've tested a few other game for the sake of my sanity and they all ran above my refresh rate.
Could you check if it also happens in Windowed and Fullscreen modes?
I checked. It does. I also used the steam commands to turn on vsync and nothing happened.
But I encountered something very odd
Im not sure if youre familiar with the program Lossless Scaling
I am familiar with it
I I noticed that when i enabled that (i was trying some guide about resolutions that I saw on steam, unrelated) the game ran at above 72 fps which is my refresh rate
but as soon as i stopped using it the game went back to 72
Alright, I'll let you know if something changed
also, ive noticed the fps counters briefly flash above 72 fps whenever i alt tab
okay i enabled it, i'll restart pz and see if anything changed
holy shit my goat you did it again
thank you so much i was going insane trying to figure it out
do you think this is an AMD/Me issue or maybe something within PZ? I could make a bug report if thats the case
I will investigate it, since we have not had any similar reports yet
