That is it, the reticle is just nonexistent when I aim. I tweaked the ui settings a tiny bit to my liking before saving my changes. However when I started aiming, the reticle just flickered and then disappeared for some reason. I reverted the settings to their default and it is still just gone, not sure what to do

but im on windows if that matters
The aiming still works as if there was a reticle, but visibly there is no indicator of what Im aiming at, Ill get a pic in a little

Which specific setting did you change? So we can try replicating it.

You can try resetting your settings if you go to “C:\Users%UserProfile%\Zomboid” and delete everything there except the “Saves” folder.

Yeah I reset it by deleting the options file, reticle showed up again but after changing the settings again it just disappeared again

Would it be possible for you to pin point which of the setting is causing this to occur? Is it a specific individual Reticle setting or all of them cause this to occur?
Are there other settings you might also be changing that could be contributing to this?
Perhaps the Iso Cursor Visibility? Is that set to off?
