Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users%UserProfile%\Zomboid?
yeah! also mb for not sharing in the first place
fishing nets without bait or chum work just fine
Looks like you might have a game install issue
Can you try doing a full reinstall?
First, uninstall the game, then go to "Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid" and make sure there are no leftover files or folders there.
After that, go to “C:\Users%UserProfile%\Zomboid” and delete everything there except the “Saves” folder.
Then just install the game again and see if that helps.
ohh interesting, alright! ill try that
hi! i did exactly what you told me and i still get the same error/issue. the add chum option still doesnt pop up with an error, but the chum still doesnt get added to the fishing net. i also still get the same error popup trying to use the add bait to the net by using chum.
could this be a possible bug?
Hm, unfortunately, this log seems to show mods enabled, meaning I cannot forward it as a bug report
Can you replicate this without mods as well?
really?? thats strange, im on b42 without mods so im not sure why it says that😓
and i also deleted my workshop folder when i reinstalled
ill see if i can try and turn them off somehow?
You deleted the "mods" folder in the Zomboid folder as well right? Can you then start a new game and test there?
yes i made sure they were all deleted
i can go ahead and start a new game real quick an test right there though
i started a new game an went ahead and tested right there, i just spawned the fishing net an chum base and combined the chum with a cockroach and i still have the same issue😓sorry!! i hope i am not bothering you
Hm, this log does not contain any mods, and I am not aware of similar reports, so I would suggest making a bug report of this on our forums
