Hosting the server from my own pc. I've seen the older messages but it doesnt seem to work for me.. the following command i've tried to use i do get the message: Your access level is now: 32
/setaccesslevel "Ekrisdis McCord" admin
/grantadmin "Ekrisdis McCord"
Also tried _ between the first and last name.

I could be wrong, but have a few suggestions, try typing "/grantadmin [your steam username]" but without the apostrophes & with your steam username instead of the name of your character.
ex: if my steamID is AppleJon, i type
/grantadmin AppleJon
