#Can't change settings/Graphics settings useless

I'm on the unstable B42 and the settings still seem to be on the highest settings, despite the game saving and loading the lowest preset I use, which leads to extreme performance issues. I also can't change my resolution.

Go to C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid and edith the options.ini file

You can change any of the settings manually there

What is the resolution you are changing it to? And do you have Borderless mode enabled when changing the resolution?

I have borderless window enabled and I changed it to random resolutions, but always ones above 1800x700 I think

Just the ones barely under the standard resolution

Borderless window always scales to the max resolution

Meaning if you have it enabled, your resolution will not change

What setting are you changing to what exactly?

Vehicle texture size > 256
Clothing texture size > 256
Simplified Clothing Textures > Zombies and Player
Texture Compression ✅

I also set the "Render Rain/Snow" to "Never"

Are you not able to set these settings in-game? Do they revert after a restart?

Nope, they stay the same, but they simply don't do anything

afaik the only thing that actually changed was Corpse shadows not appearing, but that was already set when I installed the unstable branch
