47 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
what are your PC specs?
Ryzen 7 5800X3D, DDR4 32GB 3200mhz, RX6600XT
running Fedora Linux
Ultrawide monitor, 5120x1440 32:9
o7
changing resolution settings in the game itself crashes every time, so I wanted to see if changing the settings in the game files help, but idk where they are on linux
...\Zomboid the Options ini file
ok thanks
when i run the game, it just shows a black screen
i had this last build
and i managed to fix it through finding fullcreen options
do you know where i could find them?
that would be fullScreen=true in your options ini file
yea, where is the ini finle
file
if this doesnt work the only guess i'd have is that proton doesnt work on B42?
user\user\Zomboid
that's not user folder. It's steamapps
hm, my game still crashed every time I load into a new save
switched to proton makes the option.ini in my home/zomboid not work
Wrong path, it has to be C\User\Your name\Zomboid
i have it on an external USB
some files will still install in your C drive
if your game is installed, this Zomboid folder would be automatically generated in the C drive
I tried no proton, proton experimental, proton 9, and proton ge9. so far it seems like the new updates not playable on linux

It is
every time i tried to load into a game it crashes
Can you send your console txt file found in Zomboid folder
ye every time ive ran the game i get the same output
any updates? 🙇 or did the console.txt not provide anything useful
