i saw that users are having issues with amd cards, personally using a 7900xt and had 0 crashes, is it specifically on older amd cards/intergrated graphics?

I think the issue is with older amd cards, but I wouldn't be surprised if integrated graphics are also having issues.
It's strictly older AMDs from what I heard. Something about a driver issue. No issues on the Steamdeck aside from a few odd crashes but they're very infrequent.

Known bug - theres some weirdness when zombies are too close so try to keep some distance. Also stairs, crawlers, and zombies on the ground are funky too

Crush hundreds of zeds under your tires without spending a round or moving a muscle. Ruin many, many trunks trying to clear out that new shooting range area.
The only problem is finding a working car with fuel (or keys if you don't run burglar) in the first place, which is down to pure luck.
i dont think melee combat is too bad considering the different speeds of the zombies its pretty easy to rest in between fights

Right so I figured it out, you can level welding still from barricading windows but this seemed very minor, & dismantling cars I'm gonna test on metal appliances/objects
so far metal appliances aren't giving any xp though so I'm thinking those two are the only way

Which is a good thing, of course, but it still needs a bit of tinkering to find a sweet spot.
...Of course, compared to slaughtering hundreds of zeds on day 1, most other forms of combat do seem a bit lacking

So stone axes in build 42 are bugged you can chop down basically an infinite number of trees before durability loss(haven't tested how many trees I can chop down but I chopped down 30-50 trees at one point +the others I've chopped and I still got no durability loss)
however they're not that great against zombies as a weapon
Tbf, some work also does need to be done on hitboxes and the works- Sometimes find myself swinging at nothing when there's a zombie right in the arc.
And gun combat, despite the risks, is more than a little bit buggered even at higher aiming levels. I can see what they're going for, and that definitely has promise. It just needs some refinement.

Yeah like, ambiguity is my biggest gripe with PZs design. Make the crosshair a direct representation of accuracy instead of some arbitrary indicator

Btw if anyone's got a better way to level up welding let me know because even with a skill book with a 3x multiplier 1 car wreck is only worth about 13-20 xp and that's without any other bonuses 💀 this is gonna be a tough one to level especially considering the 10 units of propane per wreck
maybe building structures is the way to go? i will have to do more testing and look into ways of levelling

from what i understand im using 10 lights using 0.02 liters? per hour, mini fridge that uses 0.13, and the generator itself is 0.02 per hour and im using 0.17 basically in total per hour

Good news. Build 42 unstable is out! Bad News. They completely rebalanced the game. Guess its time to relearn it. I've done some extensive testing of the new muscle strain mechanic and will tell you what you need to know to deal with it. Just beware that so many more things change combat and significantly at that.

Thing is Maintenance is currently in the Combat - Melee tree and according to the tool tip is "Trained through melee combat."

yea! I am haven't used hydrocraft in forever cause it caused far too many issues, and this patch really has solved a lot of it being in the base game
Australia, used to be free grey shopping bags in every store. They'd also be in every river, road, creek, playground etc. They banned them many years ago so now we have still technically a plastic bag, but of a much higher quality and they cost about 50 cents
we pretty much always pay for plastic bags here, i think currently its about 50 euro cents, and some fancier ones for 1-2€, but those also have a layer of aluminium in them and are designed to be reusable for stuff that has to be kept cool

hey guys, aspiring potion crafter for b42 here, the liquids that can be currently mixed seem to be the liquids that can be actually consumed by a human person and not die (asides from bleach), I wish to create the everything potion, a container with every liquid added to it
this is my progress so far..
tomorrow or later today I'll test out soups and if they'll be able to be added to a water container and.. also be added to the other liquids as well..

Imo the devs should have nerfed melee combat with getting out of breath. You get out of breath from running 20 meters but then get out of breath from killing 15 zombies, which makes no sense. Swinging a weapon is much much more exhausting than running is

The magnetizing is them trying to fill the spot that was emptied via migration more than likely
the heat map is like their own matrix it's hard to explain
so you can set it so that zeds spawn around buildings (outside) or inside buildings exclusively
You're misunderstanding me. Im saying the heatmap determines zed spawn, it never caused them to like, return to the high value areas after being lured away, which is what it feels like is happening a lot. Might be imagining it
There's also an option for them to "spawn anywhere" which I'm guessing might lead to what we see in B41 with several hordes on the highway
