Zomboid is more about emergent gameplay, and events that happen 'emergently' are less common in the late game, so hopefully that's addressed in the coming years

i did a bit of research & asked for help & ive checked all the boxes
but i found that a lot of the issues i could have were alrdy accounted for. by the os, the game, my isp, etc.
cos ur not the only individual in the world who wants ur network to be secure against bad actors
anyway yeah if u do it right it takes like an hour or two to set up a server, probably less on windows
its easier to set up bots on windows 😭 theres actually guides for it, not for linux ones tho

i had a home server for some time, but just decided to throw money at a large hoster to get me a root server, when it finally gave up
safes me dealing with issues like broken hardware and well, their networking is a lot better

It’s funny because, the power of PZ isn’t graphics. It’s the depth. Not many games allow you to place items down, but PZ says “decorate the street if you want we don’t care”. It doesn’t have a in depth storyline, but you end up “writing” insane stories as you play. I’m still flabbergasted this game is the same demo I played so many years ago, trying really hard to beat the bandit who comes for baldspot and Kate. Think I’ll be playing this until I’m dead
