I've seen this before, and I think it is a rendering issue. I've quit out and reloaded/rejoined to solve a number of times.

Also, there may be memory issues involved, and restarting your computer to force a RAM flush may help with this as well.

At times you can see bits of shade that come from cloud activity, and this seems to be something that happens when something breaks due to memory/rendering issues stemming from that functionality.

Some will. The colored shelf is the shelf that your character will see when/if you were to look at the container tab, so as you move, that'll move. And for the shadows, it depends on your perspective and orientation.

Still, quit to desktop and then restart your computer. Maybe even shutdown the computer, count to 30 and then start it back up again if you want to extra certain. You want as fresh a boot of the game as possible.

i dont think its a rendering issue, i remember it happening in an old server

some cheater used godmode to build literally everywhere and it fucked everything up. ceilings leave shadows like that, which means someone mustve built sky platforms
