day 1: I woke up in a trailer park where i found cool tool for cleaning my lovely garden, after that i very calmly killed all my friends that had turned into zombies and found one with a very cool backpack, i obv took it from him and then decided to walk in random direction till u found this drive-in cinema, it was prolly closed since there were no cars and not even that many zombie friends and since it was getting dark and i was too lazy to explore more i just went to grab some snacks and 3 bottles of bourbon and drank myself to sleep

I even checked the prison armory.. empty aswell.. what the f*** now? Tmrw there will be a giant horde of 500+ zeds and i have no guns or ammo..

atleast i got "safe" place to sleep tonight, i blocked it off downstairs and a bit upstairs so they shouldnt get in, tmrw i will try to run into the small mili checkpoint and find some weapons otherwise ill be gone on the night of the horde

also food is becoming a problem, none of it anywhere and soon ill start to perish due to the hunger

Aftermath of the first hordenight, afterall i managed to find some ammo and also used my axe and machete

and this cool car: I found it infront of the Checkpoint, killed 200 zeds just to get in and i only had to replace the battery and add fuel for it to run, it had a key and engine was decent

Yeah i also found some cool attachments at the mili base, might aswell put them to use... :> Only got 5 shotty boxes from the whole checkpoint tho so not sure how long it would last

Good thing you stopped now. When the hood reaches 0 the engine takes all the brunt! Better fix or find a replacement for it asap. Avoid zeds at all costs at this point.

Just changing hoods is gonna be a problem for you on that one anyway. It's a "82 Pontiac Firebird hood". Not a "Sport" or "Normal" hood. Repairing seems like your only viable option.

True. Or just vulture engine parts. But the engine condition goes down FAST when the hood is broken.

Yeah i know and also with the insane pop the roads will be filled, there is no way i can get thru the whole city with this

And i just found this car, all its missing is a key and i can´t hotwire yet. I know i know the 3 engine quality is TERRIBLE but it would just be tempoary till i find something better

ill look around a bit more but car spawns are very low so it wont be easy and most of them don´t even have battery

i meannn in the long run you will always wanna have better quality if you have higher fuel consumption and can´t always leave the car running. For example if you go raid some building and it becomes too much and you will have to drive away so you run back and hop into your car and boom engine won´t start after 10 attempts and suddenly zombies are at your window and you are gone, i died to it so many times aghhh

Getting to a base that can be secured for horde nights seems to me like the main prio rn. Long run can be handled later.

Looking at that screenshot from your first horde night... I have honestly cleared bigger crowds than that just trying to clear a block in a single city. If these crowds grow and actively attack you, you're gonna want a solid spot to base up.

Nah, just climb up on the highest building you can find and try to make a base there at the top floor. Should provide you with all the challenge you could ever desire while using the horde mod 😄

With your loot settings it's not like you're gonna make 10 trips up and down the building every day to stash things anyway.

I once got "trapped" inside an office building in LV. One of my most exhilarating moments in PZ. They just kept flowing in from both windows and the door. Every time I managed to kite them around the furniture to have some hope of escape another few came pouring in through the windows. The bodies are stacked pretty think but this is over 500 kills and 6 worn out bats later.

Also my horde settings are on random time, it can be every day or every 5, 10 yk how it goas on, if it would be every day i wouldnt have time for anything else if i spent all day and night fighting and making repairs

Back to RC: I made my way back to the car, had to kill few 100s of zeds for it but thats fine, i didn´t use up much ammo... but hey what is that icon on top right? WHAT COULD IT BE? Anotha Horde night...

Also i killed another 200 zeds and broke my best weapon when getting into some survivor house... just for it to have nothing else then one leather jacket
