Hello, how are you? I am the founder of the Spanish server of the "Comunidad Palangana," and lately, I’ve been experiencing some hacker attacks. I wanted to discuss with you, preferably in private, that a hack for Project Zomboid is being developed, and this could be a problem... I wanted to share the information that the last hacker sent to each player on my server, in case you’re interested in learning about this hack to address it in the future, as this could be a significant issue for servers... In the past two weeks, I've had six hackers enter my server, and I would prefer not to protect my server with a password or whitelist since it would limit access. I would like to keep the server public so that everyone can enjoy the server I’ve created...

If you are interested, I would like to request that, if possible, we handle this ticket privately so that only we can discuss it. I can then pass along the information to help combat this hack by understanding it and tackling it at its root, thereby protecting the game...

This is not a criticism, far from it. On the contrary, I would love to help with these kinds of issues since they improve the gaming experience by keeping it free of cheaters. I look forward to your response, and thank you very much for your attention.

to be fair, you can't do anything about it
The way PZ (in it's actual version) is made, the only way to prevent cheating is to have active moderators on your servers

Basically the actual net code is mostly client side and trusted by both server and others clients

PZ MP was more a Play with friend you trust than an actual hosting feature for public servers

Wait for b42 to have a proper server, with a lot of functions handled server side

But don;t be naive, there will be always cheaters
Don't forget that Cheat Menu have 500k subs.. as a public mod

@lost garden, I found out that a server in the Brazilian community is sharing hack apps on Discord and their website. I can send you the details privately if needed. I've noticed that many people in Brazil are obtaining hacks through this server
