Broken save

I have a broken save that crashes the game on loading. I used backup software so it sholdn't be an issue to me. Where can I upload the file for analysis?

Could you elaborate? Are you trying to fix the save or are you just reporting it as a bug?

@long fern I'm reportign it as a bug. I already restored old save but as I developer I understand value in ability to reproduce a bug. I want to submit it for review. Or is this not relevant?

It would depend on many factors, have any mods been used on the save?

Yes, around 30, but AFAIK all can be turned off without save breaking.

In that case, the save cannot be used for reproducing the bug, since mod saves cannot be used to report vanilla issues

Are you able to reproduce the bug without mods?

It's a random issue which came up after 50 hrs of gameplay. I didn't have issues before with an exeption of this one. I figured that it might be useful for the dev team to have it for investigations given it fails 100% of the time. I won't be able to reproduce it on a new save. Should I delete my backup of that faulty save?

You can share it and I can forward it, though it is unlikely to be looked into since the issue is likely caused by the mods

I also think that using a different char might fix the issue. I guess it's up to you whether or not to share it with the devs. 🙃
