Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
It is your PC username
There should only be a few folders there
Such as Admin, Public, third one would be your PC username
You open that
its saying no items match my search
I do not recommend using search
oh
Follow the path manually for the highest reliability
I am not sure why though
C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid is the folder path
Which means you can go to that folder by following that path
You open your C drive, then your User folder and so on
oh my c drive
There is no PZ folder location there as you can see
im still not finding it, i dont know files that well

Here are a few good guides on how to navigate to the User folder
Is it because project zomboid is in an externaldrive (D:)
That is where you will see the Zomboid folder
think i found it
Good, you can share the logs.zip file, second one from the bottom
It looks like the last 5 server launches all had mods enabled, which can be responsible for the issue
Can you first disable all your mods in your game and server, then try replicating the issue?
disable all mods, then try to launch a new co op?
pz takes around 10 ish mins to load so it might be abit
Yes
ok, its still loading into the main menu
shoot, ims orry i was just told im going somwhere so ill have to be back in a few hours. im sorry
did disable all the mods tho so when i come backil launch the co op, will i never be able to se mods on a co op again?
Disable all is just to confirm you can get it running again.
Then you can add a few mods at a time. It will eventually work, or you will find the mod that causes the problem.
Or if it doesn't load properly vanilla, Beard will have a better idea of why.
alright im back, sorry for the wait. I started hosting the server with no mods.
its been on the black screen for about 5 minutes now
still black 5 mins later
another 5 passed
alr it hasnt worked, @ me whenever ur back online and i might be. it neevr loaded.
I need the logs.zip file without mods in that case
Alright, how do I do that?
Replicate the issue without mods, then send the logs.zip file
Okay I'll try and hop on the computer in a second thank you
Activate all my mods, try and host then send the file again?
Sure, I just need the logs without the mods
alr itll be about 20 minutes to load
do u want me to wait a bit when the server starts loading or just for a few minutes
im also still waiting on the black screen too justincase
friend says it might be CPU bound?
Looks like you have a rare bug that we do not have a fix for at this moment
I can only suggest hosting a dedicated server instead of a coop one

Follow the "Install "Project zomboid dedicated server" via steamCMD" section.
oh thats wonderful
well thank you for your help
shoot didnt remember servers cost money, nvm
You host it on your own PC
Thats what the link should explain
May need to follow this as it explains port opening:
