#Graphic issue?

Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
There do not seem to be any errors listed in the game, meaning the issue is likely caused by something weird going on in your PC
Can you first check whether you have the lastest drivers updated?
https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html
Uhm i have the amd software already installed it says it's up to date
Could it be a hard disk problem?
some time ago i used to play zomboid and i never got this issue, now when i reinstalled it, it's happened much more often
I was thinking about factory resetting my PC maybe that'll help?
perhaps it could be some weird setting i put in the amd software
You mean you reinstalled the game?
Have you installed it on a different hard drive than before?
I might recommend going to your AMD Software and just resetting it to Factory Defaults
The default settings are pretty good there
i reset the amd settings i'll let you know if i keep on getting issues
I mean that i had the game installed some time ago and it didnt give this issue, then i unistalled it.
Only now when i have reinstalled it it's giving me this
@swift jacinth By the way except the texture bug, when it happens i also have other types of glitches
1 Any container i walk next to doesn't show up on the menu unless i click on the ground
2 I cannot move items unless i right click and click on pick up
3 stuck on aim mode
Sometimes it shows some errors in the bottom right corner too
Error 1 and i cant remember the others
Has anything else changed on your PC since then?
Any extra applications?
Changes to your hardware?
Overclocking?
Only overclocking
i turned that off
another weird thing is that going to main menu doesn't solve it, i must close and reopen
i installed things like blue stacks
and medal
but they're both off
when i play
What sort of overclocking? Since this issue has been reported happening due to that
Especially applications such as GPU Tweak recently
I see, and now you reset it to factory defaults right?
Check if the issue happens after this then
@swift jacinth I've been playing for a while and no errors 👍🏼 Thank you for helping me
I will keep this ticket open for a few days in case something does go wrong
Do you have any sort of other applications running in the background? Check the Icon tray, most people can have quite a lot running there
Otherwise, I would recommend trying to switch the game to Windowed or Borderless modes and see if it also happens there, compared to Fullscreen
All apps are turned off on startup, so my only hope now is to do this
Checking the startup is generally not enough
Because some apps use the scheduler to run instead, or the services
Which is why I recommend the icon tray
i only have things like opera discord and spotify running
Hamachi could be a issue?
i'm checking the task manager
I'm gonna try to unistall everything that's unnecesary
Turning it off is enough, uninstall is unnecessary, since having files on disk does nothing unless the app is running
I have windows updates pending maybe that could be it?
i'll try updating
also i found out i was missing these optional drivers
Oh yeah I generally would recommend installing all of those
Its just extra driver updates for your system, good to have
They shouldnt be the reason of this problem though, but maybe more outdated drivers combined could be?
i will update everything i can and let you know
could the problem be related to refresh rate?
It could be yes
well i tried lowering the refresh rate from 75 to 60 im now starting to play i'll let you know if i still get that issue
thx for all the help you're providing
also will play on borderless
So i'm really trying to not get frustrated rn but the game keeps crashing even on launch or only a few seconds after getting in my game save file, i'll reset the whole pc to see if that helps
these are the logs, i fail to believe it's only my issue at this point
That is understandable, if that was the case though, we would have a lot more reports of this exact same issue
At this moment, it is just you having this problem
Which means it is a problem specific to your PC
Have you done any sort of overclocking to the BIOS in the past? Since this issue would certainly be related to the overclocking, which is why I brought up the graphics overclocking first
But it could be RAM related too, in the BIOS
all i did was set a custom amount of ram for project zomboid using xms and xmx
i am not familiar with bios overclocking at all
i haven't applied thermal paste to my processor in years maybe that could also be a reason lol
Perhaps.. as far as I can tell it has to be something external, since if it would be the game itself bugging out, it would throw a ton of errors in the logs
But instead the logs show the game running perfectly fine
Which makes me think its either some sort of RAM issue or the graphics card failing or something similar
You could try reseating your RAM
It may even be a Windows problem, could you try running the SFC scan?
Describes how to use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files in Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7 or Windows Vista.
i'm gonna do it right now
i followed the instructions, it says it has found some corrupted files
and fixed them
i'm gona try to reset my ram now
is RAMMap appropriate
im watching a yt vid
