How do we find the server on PZ?

How do I join??

• 1. Open Project Zomboid (from Steam or your desktop)
• 2. Select "Join"
• 3. Select the "Internet" tab
• 4. Enter the name
• 5. Enter the Address (games.dzphosting.com) into the IP box
• 6. Leave Local IP blank
• 7. Enter the Port
• 8. Enter the password -- Not every server here has a password. If you don't see a password listed in login info, it does not have one.
• 9. Enter your username (this is what your name in server is)
• 10. Enter a password that you will remember (so someone cant steal your account)
• 11. Hit SAVE (IF YOU DO NOT HIT SAVE THEN NONE OF STEPS 1-10 MATTER)
• 12. Server will then be in your "Favorites" tab
• 13. Join the server. Or dont. I dont care.

Any issue with controllers is client side

Hmmm I'll try joining it and let you know if I have any issues. In general if you are having purely clientside issues, which can occasionally occur, you can delete %UserProfile%/Zomboid/joypads and verify game files

But before going to that level I'll try it out.

Confirmed, controller support on that server DOES work (in the mediocre way that a controller works without Wookiee Gamepad Support or Interface Reflexes, but it works).

I would try deleting your joypads config.

Alternatively, if you're not launching PZ through Steam, that could be the issue.

I opened inventory, ran around, smashed zed's head. All that worked. And created a player of course.

Does your controller work in the vanilla menus before you join the server?

Or do you join using KBM and try to activate controller at some later time?
