#Most Up-To-Date Docker Container?
29 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
idk if stuff changed, but when i set up my zomboid docker a few months ago it was kinda hell. might've just been me tho, i am not a docker pro. (i also don't usw docker for zomboid anymore)
i did manage at some point though, using linuxGSM's zomboid image.
not sure if there are easier ways, but check here if you wanna try it.
https://linuxgsm.com/servers/pzserver/
btw, if you manage to get it running: it should update to latest version automatically
thank you, but are you sure that's a docker container? it looks like a separate installer type thing but i could be wrong!
i'm sorry, my bad. that wasnt the link to the docker container
@teal jacinth try this link
i hope it works out for you!!
appreciate it 🙏
okay, i was able to set it up!! linuxgsm is kinda weird where they make you use a special config instead of environment variables but my server should be accessible now
i am a bit confused because it does say my server isn't responding when i query it but when i click the join server button i'm able to access it just fine
is there a workaround for this?
awesome that it's working, that query issue also happens for me on the default server though. idk how to fix that
good to know it's not just me then
currently i'm using the dedicated steamCMD server on my windows PC and i also have that
did you save your server's IP or a URL?
ip but i'm routing that ip to a domain name
oh that might be the issue actually, putting in the direct ip works fine
my guess was that it's because of me using a DDNS domain instead of direct IP
yeah.. unfortunate
odd
it's not a big issue as long as we can play, but i wanted it to be pretty in my server list haha
yeah same
glad it's nothing game breaking but it's still a bit unfortunate..
thanks so much for your help!!
ah it was all you, i just pointed you in a direction
