I suspect they were over-encumbered unless they had increased injury severity from the sandbox settings (which probably still wouldn’t kill you either). Indeed falling one or two floors shouldn’t (and doesn’t) kill you at full health with moderate fitness and strength

Yeah, lemmy thought it would be out by June. There is a difference between an estimation based on previous work and using that to base a predictive date he thinks it’ll be done by.

Obviously, there’s many things that happens between an initial implementation of something and the final product that doesn’t come to mind when you’re working toward the final goal.

Maybe he assumed it would be easier then he thought at the time, and along with that many IRL things with devs and solving/creating the various problems and obstacles that pop up when developing a game came up and chipped away at his estimation.

The only thing I can say is that the fan base isn't flip flopping - it's literally two camps. The people who praise them after updates are the normal people who fuck off to do other stuff while the game is being worked on and come back.

The people who need a crisis center are the ones scratching their necks thinking the update will solve their life problems if it just came out sooner.

And they even more frustratingly fuck off when the game update comes out cause they lose their soap box. (Not to mention if they even play the game to begin with.)

Kingsmouth map is going to be soooo fun to try out.

I think, as far as I can tell, it's the only official map in Project Zomboid where the player is completely surrounded by water, meaning, it's not possible to procedurally generate wilderness near the borders of the map.

So, if the player were to somehow wipe clean all of the zombies, create an animal farm, and breed animals heavily, then yeah, this is doable.

I agree 100% but I want to let you know that last known number that I read. which came from Nasko, is over 30 devs working on PZ now (including MP team) and they have hired a bunch of people since then.

But yea, they really aren't slow and anyone who says they are really has never done any sort of programming and definitely have never tried to create an engine from scratch

watched a video and read about that a bit. Found out that small frogs can be overheated by skin contact since many frogs prefer cool temperatures. By holding frogs, one can also easily damage the protective and constantly secreting mucous layer on their skin causing their skin to dry out. Like someone mentioned before, their skin is also permeable and can absorb any salts, oils, and chemicals on human hands

Can't agree. After the b41 hype, modders are the sole reason the game is played right now, and they are doing gods work for TIS. Many promises, many teasers, many hype for b42 from TIS but after 2 years of waiting we still got literally nothing, lol. Look what tsar or many other modders could do in the mean time, and they are doing it technically pro-bono in their free time. TIS devs are paid good money for working on this project and still they can't deliver the new build, which besides engine and crafting improvements isn't even so revolutionary, lol.
