#Gpu and CPU usage keep jumping like a trampoline.

Hey, im playing modded PZ and suddenly after a while of playing i started having an issue that i never had before, fps drops to 0 constantly every 1-2 seconds for half a second or so, i tried everything from increasing the ram xmx limits in the .bat/json files up to overclocking my cpu etc, gpu usage only is stable in the menu when paused but when in game it instantly drops to 0 only to get back to 40% for a split second, also jumping like my cpu.
The screenshot attached is showing my cpu/gpu behavior when the game is running in the background, the spikes are more randomised when ingame.

#

im going to try and record the behaviour right now

#

and let me also drop log.zip file

Are you able to check your CPU and GPU heat as well?

#

Additionally, can you check your Applications and see if it is PZ that is using the most CPU?

i mean i can run easily cyberpunk and dead space remake on this pc on medium/high settings stable 60fps so yeah

Different API, so not a fair test

#

A better comparison would be Minecraft for example

#

Does this happen on a new save without any mods?

let me test as well

#

minecraft i mean that shit can run with 380 mods on 12gb ram allocated so i dont think its an issue with that.

Test the modless save as mentioned

yeah its fine on modless. still the weird part is that the game run perfectly fine for over 5 hours playing with the mods and then suddenly i started having heavy performance issues. im going to be testing which mods could be the cause of the issues.

ummm is this how it is supposed to look like 😂

Just looks like debug mode catching errors

#

You have it enabled?

thorn wadi
#

i tried to enable it but idk exactly where, i added the -debug to launch options

silver bolt
#

Yeah, that is how you enable it

#

And it caught a bug, which is the job of debug mode

#

I generally recommend not having it turned on unless you are doing admin work or fixing your own mods

thats pain, i tried to see what mods are erroring out but with this happening i need to check one by one 130 mods ;-;
