In my case, there were some bugs. And luckily they are correctable. But what bothers me is that I mention the solution in comment "A" and 2 minutes later someone comes to type the same thing and doesn't look down to see the solution

The vest pouches can be worn without the armor, it looks very funky

You could most likely add the need to wear the armor to actually be able to wear those

Well, I don't know specifically how you choose where to get dirty yourself.

But in my mods that involved clothes, I always used this vanilla parameter. to tell where there would be blood

(blood location also includes dirt etc)

If you check the vanilla clothing files there are several of these "blood locations", depending on which piece of clothing you want.
