Can't connect with IP. Port fowarded for 16261 and 16262 UDP

I've portforwarded and tested with a Minecraft server to confirm that it's working and I can host a server.
Any ideas why I can't seem to connect to my Zomboid server with my IP?
Localhost works fine.

It's finding my server, yet I'm still unable to connect via IP

Is anyone else able to connect to it? Are you certain you forwarded the 16261 and 16262 UDP ports?

I am certain I am forwarded to those ports. My friends are all busy for Easter so I don't have anyone to test yet

I had to fully disable my firewall and it worked

Can you turn off the firewall before launching the server up? I do it when the game/ is running when I was running a non dedicated server

I'm not sure I understand the question, I go into my setting on my PC and disable my firewall then start the server and people are able to join

Fair. You can turn off the firewall for that specific game but leave the firewall up for everything else
