I am not sure what you mean by that

#

Factor resetting PC = Deleting everything on the PC

#

including your games

#

Meaning your games will be as if you installed them for the first time

im worried

#

if ur confused sir basically i factory reset my pc without backing up pz so then when i re install it and open it non of my progress is there

#

like its brand new

#

Meaning if you did not backup the saves, then Steam did not do it either

That if you deleted your game saves, you no longer have them

tawdry rover
#

so thats it?

#

i just lost my progress

#

i technically just factory reset my pc and on steam settings i have cloud saves enabled

#

im really confused here sir

upper hamlet
#

Not all games have cloud saves

tawdry rover
#

oh

#

#

is there any any possible way to try to get them back

#

#

Check if you have a "Windows.old" folder in your C drive

#

Next to your "Windows" folder

#

If not, then there would not be any realistic way to recover the saves

tawdry rover
#

this?

#

thats the only one the popped up

upper hamlet
#

You do not have it in that case

tawdry rover
#

oh

#

..

#

im sad

#

im dumb anyways

upper hamlet
#

Sorry for your loss, the only realistic recovery is get a disk recovery expert, though that costs money usually and is not certain to recover anything

tawdry rover
#

oh

#

alright

#

thanks man

#

sir

#

sorry to disturb

#

i came across my recent profiles i had made on this PC

#

if i manage to find the one which i think has the saves

#

will it work?

#

to re install that same profile

upper hamlet

You do? The saves are in the User/Zomboid folder by default
