Just bought game on steam today and I can’t run it at all. It says running but will not launch whatsoever even after being on YouTube tutorials and changing things for hours. Could use some help finding a solution because I’m super excited to play and this is a huge bummer.

Have you tried launching it in both modes on the popup that appears?

Can you try using the "Alternate launch" option when launching the game through Steam? If the game fails to start again, can you share your console.txt file, found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?

Very clueless when it comes to pc, used to have console up until yesterday but pretty sure that’s what you were asking for.

Do you have the screenshot here? And did you connect the PC by yourself once you got it? Assuming that was the same person

I think I see the issue now, you likely connected the monitor to the wrong port based on the logs

Here is a good showcase of the correct connection

The bottom ports are used by your graphics card, the top ones for your motherboard

#

You want the monitor to be in the graphics card

#

So I recommend stopping the PC, then switching the monitor, then start it again

#

After that, run the Windows Update, so it downloads and installs the drivers for the graphics

#

And the game should work fine after that
