I don't remember which gives more points or even if it's a mod, but I find underweight to be easier. But I usually start out injured and burn victim (Both are mods I believe) so I have to eat a lot in the start anyway.

I'm guessing this is vanilla though.

I could turn them on and redo it if you want

Play however you like to play buddy. I've been a fan of modding games for 20+ years, ever since I discovered mods for Carmageddon 2. I haven't played a single game vanilla since then and PZ is no exception 😄

Just avoid the cheaty ones that makes the game too easy.

what mods would be cheaty exactly?

There are plenty of easymode mods on the workshop. But I suppose that's up to the individual to judge. I really can't think of any specific ones rn.

I play with "More traits" and "Dynamic Traits", and Dynamic traits could in many ways be considered to be cheaty. But it's also configurable.

would occupation and trait overhaul be cheaty?

I don't think so personally. AFAIK they are configurable as well, so just set them up to be harder if it seems too easy.

With Dynamic Traits you can pretty much gain all the positive traits and get rid of negative ones with experience. I've just turned them all up to 11 so I don't gain new traits easily.

Okay

But if you're new, just get used to the vanilla mechanics and work from there tbh

I've got 1000 hours and probably a new game for every 20 hours. Most of it because I'm just testing and tweaking mods.
