Hey, I need some help, please. I'm hosting a small server project and experiencing slight performance issues. The server is powerful enough, and I've already increased the RAM caps to 128GB for the applications (game, server, java). My problem is likely with the server script. My question is: How do I optimize the mod list to avoid problems, etc.? The loading order for me is: libs, Tiles, maps, cars, ui, fixes, and then the rest. Can I optimize anything there, or how do other projects manage to be lag-free despite extensive modding? It runs well, but there's occasional stuttering, and it's a bit laggy during login, etc.

If the server is booting and not crashing then the load order should be fine, the stuttering when someone logs-in is normal as the server slows down a little bit for a few sec while the player loads in. I have my load order to load maps, title, libs/UI, cars, armor/weapons, misc.
- Maps
- Tile Packs
- Mods that change character details / UI
- Vehicles
- All other mods (items, loot, clothing, etc)
- Any mod that updates 2+ previous mods
- Any mod that updates other mods (such as Udderly Up to Date)
thanks a lot, is this confirmed and do i have problems if i change that midgame? 😄
nope boot is totaly fine. within 6 min and 425 mods :).
Libs on same position as tiles?
I've been hosting for a long time, this load order works
what libraries?
for other mods😅
yes which specific ones though
for example Tsar Common Libary
the library needs to go with the mods its for, either directly before or after them
thx. other tipps for good performance?
How are you running the server?
via Indifferent Broccoli, Linux based mashine
Are you still having performance issues?
have not changed the que yet, im in fear of problems becouse of midgame. is it cool to change the whole sequence?
Specifically, are you talking about the load order of your mods?
yes, sorry for bad english
Yes changing the load order is fine so long as you dont remove ones that change framework or such
My issue with indifferent broccoli is that they make wild claims about offering all these resources
But users dont actually know what they are paying for
So its mostly BS to me
I would suggest in the future only purchasing from hosting services that tell you exactly what you are paying for
yes absolut right. i had to treat them a few times a bit harsh, but now its good. They are good, but only one of the Staff is able to help with the Mashine, the offered tools to control the serer via web-page in most cases dont work or interfere with the normal server script( example: i could change the Server description, but i can not and it wrecks the script and the server gets stuck..). which provider do you recommend?
Where are you located?
You can just name timezone if you dont want to say specifically
