I am trying to host a coop vanilla server through the menu but once I get past the character creation screen after i've made a character the screen goes black and nothing seems to happen and pressing escape instantly takes me back to the menu and seemingly closes the server i've tried using a launch option I found in an older steam forum and i've followed the server guide i've also ran the game with administrator and nothing seems to work

i've also tried running the server in 4 gb of ram and 5 gb of ram (my computer has 12gb)

There do not seem to be any errors here, how much RAM are you assigning the server?

Looks like you have one of the rare bugs that happens in hosting in that case, there is no fix for it at the moment

#

Can only recommend hosting a dedicated server instead
