Im currently hosting a game for my friends that uses server settings not seen the main menu and have to be implemented in-game. However, each time I reload the world, the server settings are reset every time. Is there a way to save these settings (from mods)?

Go to C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid\Saves\Multiplayer
Open your server folder and delete the map_sand.bin file there
Is that before or after I make the settings?
Before
This file doesn't exist in this folder
I created a new server in order to test this. When does the map_sand.bin file appear? I have already generated the world and fixed the sandbox settings for MP in-game.
Just check that you have the permissions to create a file in that folder, it may be that you don’t have rights to it so it can’t save your setting’s permanent?
If it does not appear, the issue may be caused by something else, it only appears if some mods create it seemingly, which then causes issues with all the sandbox settings
It should not exist on the server by default
Are the advanced settings the only ones that fail to save?
That, and the brita mod, randomized zombies, and better fishing. Anything that needs to be set in-game gets reset
With the amount of mods, it gets exhausting to re apply the settings every launch.
@pallid plaza any idea what is causing these sandbox vars issues all of a sudden? seems like an influx of them in the past like week. my server doesn't have a map_sand.bin file. is there some mod that is creating/using that you know of?
Likely some mod update, there were no changes with the game since December
If the standard game settings work, it means that its just one or several mods causing the issues
Can only recommend testing by removing them to figure out which one
right, i figured it is a mod, but no one has isolated which mod yet, as far as i know
