I've had a server through apex hosting, but only for a couple weeks but it seems fairly well organized in the layout, tho they mainly host MC servers so they don't have a lot of guides on PZ. Just my experience thus far but no real complaints

8 works for me, and I run a 250+ modlist usually.

I can only afford 4gb but I run around 100 vanilla plus mods basically. Haven't had any issues with ram (yet), but I don't have a large player count either

Might be some issues with 4gb and 100 mods, but if its small ones you..should be fine.

Don't use GTX, we used them before and they scammed us of hardware and only fixed it when we discovered it ourselves. They are also super expensive.

I mean, bugs do happen, if they fixed it when you noticed I'm not sure saying they are scammers is fair, especially when you are partnered with their competition and pushing a referral link here

Server wasn't performing to the standards we expected, we brought extra RAM, upgraded to NVME, upgraded our core to 20 cores. A month after buying these upgrades and still having performance issues with our player capacity, we enquired further into it. They admitted that despite upgrading our hardware, the changes were never made their end.
When we asked about a refund for the entire month of hardware we never had, they said nothing.
We also enquired a few times during the month into why our performance was not the best, it was only at the end of the month they admitted to the mess up with the upgrades
Additionally we had our suspicions when we ran reports on the machine, the statistics didn't add up right.

This is my point. I understand they messed up and didn't perform the upgrades, but the fact they would not even refund a month where we had no upgrades in the first place, this is what pushed us away completely.
