Looked on google but all im finding is how to upload a local world to a dedicated server, i host a world for me and my friend to play on but i want to send him the file so he can continue where we left off while im at work, thanks!

I've done this on a similar game (Son's of the Forest) but no clue if it works or how it works with zomboid.
I'd imagine sending all files relating to the save and him putting them in the right spot would theoretically allow him to do that.
But I'm not sure if there would be any issues or corruption of files, they might be relative to your steam ID or something.

it would be quite annoying to have to send them back and forth though. the ideal thing is to find if one of you have a PC you can just leave on 24/7 as a server, or get a cheap PZ server host.

Yeah I had done that sending back and forth thing with SOTF and it got to be a real pain lol dedicated servers are the best way to go
